Lake Superior Fishing - Trolling Questions

How Many People Per Trip?
Trip prices are based on a party of one to six persons.

Can A Half Day Trip Be Extended?
Generally not. Normally the boat is booked for another half day.

Why Full Day Trips Over Half Day Trips?
Full day trips allow the captain to fish waters further from shore than are possible on half day trips. Full day trips will overall, produce more fish per person and bigger fish.

What To Bring:
Charter parties are expected to bring their own food and beverages and wear soft sole shoes, along with a cooler for transporting the fish home. The fish will be cleaned and packed on ice. All the fishing gear, ice and etc. is furnished by the captain.

What About Parties Larger Than Six?
Groups up to 36 persons can be arranged. Capt. Brian has access to six charter boats for conventions, sales meetings and other get-togethers. He can arrange lodging and meals.

Is A Fishing License Needed?
Yes. A Wisconsin fishing license and a Great Lakes trout stamp are required. Persons needing a license can purchase a two day license (no stamp required). Children under 16 years of age do not need a license.

Are Alcoholic Beverages Allowed?
Yes, if they are used in moderation.

Are We Guaranteed To Catch Fish?
Only God can issue that kind of guarantee. But Capt. Brian is known for his success, so bring your camera and prepare for a memorable Lake Superior fishing adventure.

What About Bad Weather?
Because of the protective nature of the Apostle Islands, very few trips ever have to be cancelled because of the weather. It is up to the Captain to decide if it is safe. A weather cancellation will result in the full deposit being refunded. Rain is not a reason for cancellation.

How Long Is A Trip?
Full day trips are for a minimum of eight hours, while half day trips are for a five hour duration.
